With 4chan being down for a while now, people are looking for alternative places to shatpost. Traffic here is 3x usual so people are looking.. Here are the most visited 4chan alternatives in the last day in order of clicks off of AllChans. Comments here don’t require login, post below your favorite direct board links – they will be held for moderation but I’ll try and get comments live quick.
Add ourchan.org and sturdychan.help
Ourchan was added, likely a cache thing if you do not see it. Ill check out SturdyChan and delete cache.
Just add an imageboard to allchans.org itself. This wordpress blog format is terrible. Oh and add favicons to all the chan listings and maybe make a chan wiki to make this place the ultimate imageboard center.
I am not adding an imageboard in until the people/teams developing the software take CP spamming more serious. The software needs more support for moderation like integrated emailing when new posts are made sent to MODs, or you can adjust when posts go live instantly vs after being manually approved (useful if you can set it to hold posts made overnight when sleeping), or they add some kind of shared spam ban list and just overall better spam detection tools. I have created several image boards over the years and the CP spamming is frustrating for a smaller board that doesn’t have multiple moderators. Oh and even worse than CP spammers are the tools who send you nasty messages like “how dare you have CP spam on your site when I visited at 3am, I’ve reported you to the FBI, your web host, and domain registrar”. I don’t prefer wordpress, but I have open comments here and spam bots are lucky to get 1 spam post through a year, while looking through the log of caught stuff there are tens of thousands attempted per year. Plus I get an email with each comment or when a comment is held for moderation. Its a whole lot safer and less stressful.

Soyjak’s solution to illegal content spam was to make all images require mod approval before they’re shown. Not only does it stop illegal content, it also stops the porn and gore spam in general for blue boards.
Despite being all soyjak’s the content is clean and refreshing.
Still, I would like a real altchan that’s thinking ahead long term.
TinyIB has that feature too, tho it was broken last time I tried it.

If anyone is curious, Soyjak Party (current domain is soyjak.st) is keeping the spirit of 4chan alive, but if you want more serious discussions, lainchan.org and 8chan.moe are my personal recommendations.

There are just way too many of these boards, even the most active ones aren’t the same. Never thought I would feel this empty losing my ability to blab and yap into the anonymous void
