I’m having issues with Ai reviewing sites to get some basic descrpitions/info – it was working OK but taking 5 minutes a pop, now it seems to be lazy and fails. So for now I’m switching to doing screenshots and getting posts live for each site, then I’ll go through again to add more content. Also removed kohlchan for suggestive illegal content to a point where it isn’t on the edge anymore. I also have 3 new sites in queue to add but will wait until this first step is done before adding anything new.

Yeah kohl was removed as I was making the list.. I was surprised it was #2 so I looked at the site more and saw the stuff there. Ive added and removed kohl a few times over the years.

Hey, I see it. Jan 4th was the first request I received and its sitting in my list to add. I will get to the new ones once I get posts created for the existing sites. I’m getting there it may even happen tomorrow if I have power/internet with the storm hitting the east coast now.
Homurachan didn’t have a lot of content when I looked early in Jan, so it likely would have been in my “wait it out a month” to make sure it survives list anyway. Its a little better now but still some 100% empty boards and others with just a couple posts. It’s in that high risk category for being dead a month after adding (from previous experience) which is why I wait. I assumed the @cock email was fake?? Is it not fake?
Netherchan and TrollChat are the others I have requests for.

Dude the global post counter above 50k after 4 months. Threads expire over time on meguca, there’s no board paging. So threads are either effectively permanent or nuked after a short period depending on the admin setting. The default is 7-14 days iirc. On my fork it’s a board owner setting so /homu/ will only have 1-2 threads up at the same time.

Meguca instances tend to centralize activity. I don’t really pay attention to the others except /mtv/, which is just an event board.

Why would you assume @cock.li is fake? Did the submitted form not have the .li?
That info helps about post expiration. It was going to get added anyway, everything is on hold a bit for the other project here making individual posts first. I dont see a global post counter on mobile and those dont mean much on chans where content is wiped out by spammers. I also think the average person would think “@cock.li” is a fake email, but OK, I was wrong lol.
To your benefit, the new boards in queue will be the most recent posts on the homepage for a longer period so youll get more traffic and visibility initially.

You don’t see post counters at all? Or do you see them and you assume it’s per board? Meguca has a shared post counter for every board. What I’m running on homurachan is fairly ahead of the canonical git head but you can verify what I’m saying with the code here.
