Quickly is relative, based on what I’ve read the source code is completely outdated and the only person that ever really worked on it was moot, so it might take some time to get the platform back on its feet, but god I hope we just get a good clone without Indians, feds and Jannies.
That’s not the problem, nothing got deleted. By having literal source code, people can find hundreds of new exploits and keep attacking 4chan if it goes back online.
It needs a full rewrite and refactoring. Think anyone in DOD have time for this?

Soyjak Party is the best altchan. However, 8chan.moe, Lainchan, and Crystal Cafe deserve an honorable mention, especially if you want something more serious than Soyjak, but they are so dead. And they are the most active altchans I’ve found. Except Soyjak. It seems that everyone moved on to Twitter ever since Elon Musk took over, but I don’t want to make an account.

Everything that is (was?) bad about 4chan exists on soyjak.party except 16x worse, with the added factor of being populated by annoying, illiterate Discordian zoomers. The best alternative is maybe Twitter, but that removes anonymity and the awesome imageboard format of 4chan.
If 4chan is to stay down, there’s nothing that’ll replace it. Everything else is either totally dead or completely skibidi toiletified. A very tragic thing indeed. I will miss socializing with people.

If the rumors are true about 4chan being a federal honeypot, then Trump himself or someone in his administration probably ordered the hit to shut down 4chan and blame a “rival imageboard” as a coverup culprit.
Doesn’t Hiroshima Nagasaki also owns 2chan? Couldn’t he just clone that site (assuming that one is actually updated)? But to be honest I feel it would be better if the site never comes back, it was such a pit for procrastination and getting urges to fap.
